Stress Terminal UI (s-tui) is a free terminal based CPU monitoring tool for Linux based Operating system. Through this tool we can monitor the CPU temperature, frequency and utilization in terminal user interface. It is written in Python. In this post we will see How to install Stress Terminal UI s-tui on Ubuntu.


As already said we are going to install s-tui Stress termianl UI on Ubuntu machine . We are using Ubuntu LTS updated as of now Jan 2018

Installation of s-tui

s-tui is python product, I installed it with help of pip installer. Below are commands to install s-tui package on Ubuntu machines.

root@jarvis:~# pip install s-tui

Once its done, we can run s-tui from Linux/Unix command line terminal, this will display screen like below mention.
