Disable Pidgin Notifications in Ubuntu
Notifications is always good to provide information for applications running on Ubuntu OS. But sometime its annoying to have these notification again-again while doing some important work. These notification could be graphical and Audio.
In this post we will talk about Pidgin, this app has feature to connect various chat platform in once. If i am not wrong most of Ubuntu Desktop guy used it for chat.
By-default Pidgin show login and logoff notification of every user, Its good to have knowledge about users login/logoff, But sometime this pop-up annoying and even make more annoying when we are in web meeting or making some technical videos from desktop.
For this post, we are using Ubuntu machine. Below are details for Ubuntu and Pidgin.

Enable and Disable Popup
For changing pop-up setting of Pidgin.Open Pidgin — Tools or ctl+u
scroll down to libnotify Popups, select it and click to configure it. It will show setting for libnotify plugin.
Un-select Signs-on and Signs-off and click on close.
